👋 About

I’m Michael — a Product Transformation Architect who helps growth-stage companies build product organizations that ship like startups but scale like enterprises.

After 12+ years and 50+ products — from 10-person startups to global brands like Adidas — I’ve learned the companies that win aren’t just idea-rich; they’re systems-driven. Great product systems turn vision into repeatable execution. This insight comes from leading products across every imaginable context, each one teaching me new patterns about what actually works.

Most recently at Float, I transformed a product org from quarterly releases to continuous delivery, achieving 46% ARR growth and the G2 #1 position. Before that, I spent 9 years at Crema leading product delivery for clients from elite consulting firms to Series A startups. As a former VP noted, my “fingerprints are woven through the systems, processes, and values” of the organization.

I’m a systems thinker at heart. Whether I’m architecting product operations, framing a shot with my Fuji XT3, or building LEGO with my kids, I’m always exploring how pieces fit together to create something greater than their parts.

This page started as a readme to help teammates understand how I work, but I’ve adapted it to share more broadly as part of my approach to building in public and connecting with others who share similar interests. Like me, it’s a continuous work-in-progress and reflects both my professional philosophy and personal values.

Whether you’re here to collaborate, learn, or just curious about how I think and work, I hope you’ll find something valuable. Have questions or see something missing? Don’t hesitate to reach out.

Concepts I value in product

While not hard and fast perspectives, I tend to find myself generally defaulting to these — refined through building products across 50+ different organizational contexts:

How I tend to approach work

My style of approaching work is simultaneously rooted in consistency and flexibility — a balance I’ve refined through leading distributed teams across 15+ countries:

Beyond Work

I believe what we do outside of work deeply influences how we think and create. The same curiosity that drives me in product development shows up in my personal interests:

These interests might seem disconnected from product leadership, but they all feed into how I approach problems, think about user experiences, and find creative solutions. Whether it’s composing a photograph or architecting a product feature, it’s all about finding the right balance between technical excellence and human experience.
