A New Chapter in Athens

The move is done.

After a whirlwind summer, our family is officially settled in Athens, Greece. Now that we’re here and my kids have started school, I’m back online and re-establishing my working rhythm on US/EU hours.

A few people have asked, “Why the move?”

The short answer is “the village.” We wanted our kids to grow up surrounded by family and a different, more embedded rhythm of community. It’s also about finding a balance I value. I’m a technologist, but I want my kids to grow up in a world where humanity is front and center. Athens lets us model that balance — a deeply human-centric culture that is also a global city.

My work as a product leader has been remote and globally distributed for years, so this move is a continuation of that work from a new home base — one that’s better for our family.

I’ve time-boxed this period as a Relocation Sabbatical through March 2026.

I’m using this time to focus on a strong conviction: based on my 12+ years leading 50+ products, it’s clear that the craft of product development is fundamentally evolving. The teams that succeed tomorrow will be the ones aggressively using AI to augment their strategic workflows.

This is my focus for this chapter:

I am actively exploring senior product leadership roles (Director+ level) and am open to 1-2 selective consulting or advisory engagements. I am available to start now for the right fit.

I’m excited for this next chapter. If you’re a leader building a product org or just want to trade notes on the new product playbooks, my DMs are open.
